To all my friends and family who are still renting and think the market is too hot right now. Now is the perfect time to buy!
1. We are starting to see a slight slow down on offers coming in on listings. That’s less competition, less bidding wars, and more leverage for you to negotiate!
2.You’re paying down your own mortgage and building your own equity not paying towards somebody else’s. It's like a savings account and you will see a return!
3. When you buy a house you are locked in at that monthly payment. No more wondering if your landlord is going to raise rent randomly. (unless you choose to refi at a lower rate which decreases your monthly payment).
4.Lenders have programs that can assist first time homebuyers with their down payment. Our preferred lender(Nova Home Loans) also has a great credit repair program completely free for you to use!
5. Down payments no longer need to be 20%. The average down payment ranges from 3% - 6% of your purchase price.
6. You can’t be forced to move because of the landlord’s decisions. You choose when, and if, to sell.
