I had the privilege of speaking at Mesa city council meeting this week in support of the Legacy Park development in Mesa’s district 6, just south of Eastmark and Cadence. The council ended up voting unanimously to move this project forward! 👏

Here are my comments on the now-approved proposal, and why I believe Legacy Park is not only good for Mesa, but the entire Southeast Valley.

🚒 A huge shout out to Mesa Fire Department for a quick response to a garbage truck fire in our neighborhood this morning.

I had just called my friend and plumber, Spencer Spartan Family Plumbing, about a sewer issue for one of my clients. He answered the phone and said, “Hey, I’m going to FaceTime you.” (Wait what?) Then he showed me these images of this garbage truck engulfed in flames! 🔥 Thankfully, the driver got out in time and was uninjured.

When I drove by later, Mesa FD was super kind to let my son “help them” with their ladder truck. Core memories were made, no doubt!

When I scheduled an out of town trip, I thought it was going to be a quiet week. I was wrong. Thankfully, though, I have an amazing partner who stepped up and stepped in to help two of my clients get their final walkthroughs in before closing and then ensure they had their keys on closing day. 9 years!! 🎉 Happy birthday to our firstborns, our beautiful twins, the kids that made us parents. We’re so thankful for the blessing that these two are to our lives. They are growing too fast (halfway to 18! 🤯😭), learning a lot (thanks to their mom!), staying busy with their siblings and cousins, always willing to help with a smile, and reminding us daily of God’s goodness in our lives. Happy birthday, Athan & Tay! Love you!!

I’m grateful to have all of these wonderful women in my life. I’m especially thankful for my wife for being the most amazing mom to our FIVE children, and for my own mom for helping me become the man I am today.
