Only 12% of sellers had an agent who filmed their home.
12 out of 100. The National Association of Realtors ( NAR ) asked sellers in 2025 whether their agent used video to market the house, and 88 of them said NO.
Same year, same organization: 75% of Realtor’s say they use social media, and they ranked social media their #1 source of quality leads at 39%.
✅ So they know where the buyers are.
✅ They know video is what lives there.
✅ Then they list your house with 24 photos and a floorplan and sit there refreshing Zillow like it’s a slot machine 🎰
Now the honest part, because I’m not going to sell you something that does not work.
Video does not save a bad price. If your home is 1 of 40 that look exactly alike in the same zip code and you’re sitting above the last comp, a cinematic walkthrough is lipstick. Price fixes that. Not me, not a drone, not a gimbal.
But some homes NEVER photograph the way they actually live. The lot that backs to nothing. The light at 4pm in March. The 18 feet of ceiling you can not feel in a wide angle shot.
I have walked enough new construction across Scottsdale and North Scottsdale to know which of those actually move a buyer who is watching from Seattle at 9pm on a Tuesday, and which ones just look pretty on a reel. That list is shorter than most agent’s want it to be.
✅ Comment INFO.
Tell me what your home is and where it sits, and I’ll tell you straight whether video would move it, or whether you’re better off putting that money somewhere else.
PRO TIP: Tina and I put our own faces on camera every single week. It is not glamorous. My wife has better presence in one take than I have in six..LOL
