Before we start touring homes and picking out where the furniture is going ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿก, there are FOUR things we need to establish first.

1๏ธโƒฃ YOUR PRE-APPROVAL ๐Ÿ’ฐ
If youโ€™re financing your purchase, we need to know what youโ€™ve been approved for before we start looking. Your pre-approval gives us a realistic price range and helps position you as a prepared buyer when itโ€™s time to make an offer.

2๏ธโƒฃ YOUR REAL BUDGET ๐Ÿ’ต
Just because youโ€™re approved for a certain amount doesnโ€™t mean thatโ€™s what you shouldโ€”or want toโ€”spend. Weโ€™re talking about the monthly payment youโ€™re actually comfortable with, including things like taxes, insurance and HOA fees when applicable.

โžก๏ธLOCKED IN WITH GODโฌ…๏ธ

We can make plans for our lives, but God always has the final say.

Back on March 13, 2026, I obtained my North Carolina real estate license. Since I already held an Arizona real estate license and North Carolina offers reciprocity, I assumed all I needed to do was pay the required fees and I would be good to go.
Well, I quickly learned there was much more to the story.

According to North Carolina law, provisional brokers must complete 90 hours of post-licensing education within a specific timeframe. Thinking I had found the simplest path, I enrolled with The CE Shop, paying $600 for the courses and another $45 for the textbook. I paid for the program in April and officially started classes in May.

Then reality hitโ€ฆโ€ฆ

The first 30-hour course felt like a breeze. I completed it, passed the exam, and moved on to the second course. About 46% into that class, I realized just how much information I needed to absorb. I didnโ€™t want to waste any time.

On June 8, I made the decision to move forward and start the next course while strategically managing my remaining workload.

That turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made.

I started the third course on June 9, completed it, and passed the exam on June 11. Then I circled back to finish the course I had left partially completed.

And when I tell you it was nothing but the grace of GODโ€ฆ

This morning, I passed it.

Today, I am officially an BROKER (Non-provisional โ€ผ๏ธ) in the State of North Carolina!

Not only that, but I will be hanging my license with Compassโ . The official announcement of the team Iโ€™ll be affiliated with is coming soon, and I couldnโ€™t be more excited for this next chapter.

I am realizing more and more that I canโ€™t even stop the blessings He has ordained for my life. The overflow has been nothing short of GODโ€™S grace, favor, and provision.

Every obstacle, every delay, every challenge was preparing me for this moment.

To anyone who feels overwhelmed by the process, keep going. Stay faithful. Stay focused. Stay obedient.

GODโ€™S timing is perfect, and His plans are always greater than our own.
