Mike Smith is the Certified Restaurant Broker and Franchise Partner for the Phoenix, Arizona market. Mike Smith has 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry in roles ranging from busboy to bartender to owner. He has held management roles at Phoenix venues, including The Hideaway and Babe’s Cabaret. He also developed the highly successful Phoenix area concept, The Local Chandler. Mike also has corporate hospitality experience including roles as Director of Operations for JNL Management restaurants Dos Gringos, Bourbon Jacks, and Cherry Lounge. His restaurants have been recognized with various social awards such as Best Happy Hour, Best Nightclub, and Best Sports Bar. Mike’s dedication to his community extends beyond his restaurant experience. He is an active member of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce. In 2021, he was recognized for his community service during the COVID-19 pandemic with the City of Chandler Community Award. Mike graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Communications and a minor in Marketing. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Arizona and has been awarded the Certified Restaurant Broker credential. Mike continues to reside in the Chandler community with his wife, Rebecca, and their child, Braelynn.
