UAD 3.6 Is Coming — Are You Ready?
Key dates, important changes, and resources for appraisers

The transition to UAD 3.6 is officially underway, and the November 2, 2026 mandate is quickly approaching.

📅 August 6, 2026 — UCDP began issuing warning messages on new UAD 2.6 submissions as a reminder of the upcoming transition.

📅 September–October 2026 — The industry continues transitioning from UAD 2.6 to UAD 3.6, with lenders, appraisers, AMCs, and software providers preparing for the change.

📅 November 2, 2026 — UAD 3.6 becomes mandatory for all new Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac appraisal submissions.
