The Healing Fields of Tempe. I was honored to volunteer to place flags and name tags for the fallen of 911. The flags are placed, then followed by the name tags, in alphabetical order. There are three sections, the Twin Towers, Pentagon and Flights. At the Pentagon and AA #77 site, if a soldier was on active duty at the time, a pair of boots (donated), is placed at the foot of his flag. So many volunteers showed up: National Guard, ASU ROTC, ASU students, and many more outstanding groups. We, at United Brokers Group, also showed to volunteer. Name tags are also placed for the children we lost and some teddy bears are placed at the foot of their flags. We are honoring those that lost their lives on 911 and promise to never forget! Events will be held at the Tempe Healing Fields, all weekend. The pictures do not fully represent the impact that can be felt if you are there in person. God Bless the USA!
