As a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, Jay has spent his entire professional career in the Northern Virginia real estate market as both a licensed Realtor and licensed Appraiser. Jay began his real estate career while still in college in 1991 working for one of the most respected real estate appraisers in Northern Virginia. Becoming a full time appraiser in 1993, Jay continued to build his r

eputation as a trusted professional with expertise in the challenging Northern Virginia real estate market. In 2006, Jay also began working with a successful Re/Max team in Fairfax County as a licensed Realtor. Because of his background in the appraisal industry, Jay brought a unique perspective to his real estate team. As a professional appraiser, Jay regularly views and researches a larger number and variety of properties than the average realtor, and is an expert in home valuation. In 2011, Jay joined the Living Realty team at Keller Williams in Ashburn. Drawn to the high tech approach and focus on customer service, it was a natural fit that allowed him to bring his years of appraisal and real estate experience to a team that complimented his strengths. Living Realty was born of a “High Tech, High Touch” approach to real estate, offering a unique blend of technological integration and personal service. Having experienced real estate as a seller, purchaser, investor, and sales agent, Jay can truly say he is Living Realty. Jay has a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Mason University and holds both a realtor license and an appraisal license in the state of Virginia. Jay lives in South Riding, Virginia with his wife Cathie and their three children Kate, Will & Cara.
