Virginia’s statewide Sales Tax Holiday is back this weekend, and it covers a lot more than just backpacks and binders! From Friday through Sunday, you can save anywhere from 5.3% to 7% on three major categories of items:

🎒 School Supplies, Clothing & Footwear
• Qualified school supplies ($20 or less per item)
• Clothing and footwear ($100 or less per item)

🌀 Hurricane & Emergency Preparedness
• Portable generators ($1,000 or less)
• Gas-powered chainsaws ($350 or less) and accessories ($60 or less)
• Batteries, flashlights, radios, and first aid kits ($60 or less)

🌱 Energy Star™ & WaterSense™ Home Goods
• Qualifying energy-efficient appliances, lightbulbs, air conditioners, and dishwashers for personal home use ($2,500 or less per item)

Online orders also count as long as items are paid for or shipped during the holiday period!
