Music, Dining & Silent Auction For Our Future

Vimala’s CurryBlossom Cafe is hosting a fundraiser for the Kamala Harris campaign on October 17th, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 at 431 W Franklin St #415, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. Music will be provided by Southern Routes, an eclectic band featuring Richard Tazewell on keyboard, David Shore on drums, Jeff Brown on saxophone and Rick Keena on guitar. All tips for the band will be donated to the fundraising campaign.

Vimala’s is creating a special menu for the occasion to honor and recognize Harris’s Jamaican and South Indian heritage. The Jamaican fare will include roast chicken, platanos, red beans and rice. Dinner will be offered at a special price of twenty dollars per meal with all proceeds going to the Kamala Harris for President campaign. Jamaican beverages such as Red Stripe beer and non-alcoholic ginger beer will also be featured.

A silent auction with proceeds to be donated to the Harris for President Campaign will round out the festive event. Contributions for the silent auction can be made by calling 919- 619-0185
