December is a good time to buy because there is not a lot of competition on the market. You have a great chance of getting the home you want. For sellers, this can seem like a negative thing. There aren't as many buyers but there's not as much inventory either, so there's less competition for you. Although the market does slow in the Greater Charleston Area, it doesn't stop, so whatever time of life you are in, if you need to sell or buy, reach out.
