We officially have the keys to our very first New Again Houses Charleston property! 🔑🏠

It’s definitely a fixer-upper, but we can already see the potential — and we are so excited to bring this little house back to life.

There’s something pretty surreal about walking through the door of your first project and realizing, “Okay… this is really happening.” 🥹

Now the fun begins. Demo, decisions, surprises, renovations… and hopefully one really good before & after. 😂

🏠 GENERAL CONTRACTOR WANTED – NORTH CHARLESTON 🔨

We’re excited to share that New Again Houses Charleston has officially acquired our first renovation property! 🎉

We’re now looking to build a relationship with a reliable, skilled General Contractor who is interested in working with us on this project—and hopefully many more to come.

This is not the typical GC arrangement where the contractor simply oversees a large crew or subs everything out. We’re looking for someone who is hands-on and will be on the job site swinging a hammer alongside their crew.

What we’re looking for:
• Licensed to work in North Charleston, or willing/able to obtain the necessary license
• Properly insured, including liability and workers’ compensation as required
• Experienced with residential renovations/remodels
• Ideally works with a small crew of 1–2 helpers
• Comfortable managing their crew and coordinating materials
• Reliable, communicative, organized, and able to keep a renovation moving
• Interested in developing a long-term working relationship as we continue purchasing and renovating homes in the Charleston area

💰 How our Cost Plus model works:

Instead of bidding the entire renovation as one lump-sum project, we use a Cost Plus Compensation model.

The GC is paid:
➡️ Your hourly labor

➡️ Helpers hourly labor

➡️ Subcontractors you manage

➡️ Materials you manage

➡️ PLUS a 10% management fee

The GC will submit a weekly invoice with hours and expenses.

An important part of our model is that the GC’s hourly labor is for hours actually worked on site. The additional 10% management fee compensates for the project-management side of the job, including coordinating the project, crew/subcontractors, and materials.

We’re looking for someone who understands that our goal is not just to hire a contractor for one flip—we want to find a great contractor partner who can grow with us as we build our Charleston operation.

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and budget-friendly cleaner in the Charleston area!

We need someone to do a thorough turnover cleaning on a small 1bed/ 1 bath condo this week to get it ready for its next tenant.

This is more than just a one-time job-we're hoping to find someone who does great work at a fair price so we can build a long-term relationship. We own New Again Houses Charleston, and we're looking for a cleaner who can also help with our future flip projects and rental turnovers.
