Here's an example of why it's important to get an 11-month builder warranty inspection on your newly constructed home.

Roof deck membranes often leak. They're almost guaranteed to leak when pe*******ons are not properly detailed or thought out.
Here's one example of a poorly sealed freon line set pe*******on through a roof deck membrane that was found leaking.

The pe*******on should have been flashed to the membrane using a proper roof boot sealed to the roof deck membrane or, better yet, run into the building through the side wall.

Severe wood damage to a floor system can occur from excessive moisture in a crawlspace. It's an all too common occurrence in our humid climate. These pictures show a neglected crawlspace and damaged floor system that was not repaired properly. It's a good idea to have any major repairs inspected.
