Have you ever walked through a season of life that completely changed your direction? ✨

What started as a backup plan for Kristy Gore became a career she never expected to love.

After a life-changing transition from her investigative career, real estate became more than a job. It became a blessing spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially.

Like so many agents, Kristy has had moments where the market felt challenging and giving up would have been easier. But her faith, her family, and the vision of building a legacy kept her moving forward.

And outside of real estate? She’s skydived, camped in the Amazon Jungle, and believes life is meant to be lived fully, even when it feels scary.

🌟 Her advice to other women in real estate:
“Do it afraid.”

That mindset is exactly why communities like matter so much. A place where women support each other, encourage growth, and choose collaboration over comparison.

The Women’s Council of REALTORS® Coastal SC is pleased to announce the appointment of Janie Pugh, Pearl Properties Team, Carolina One Real Estate as the 2027 South Carolina State Liaison.

Janie brings more than two decades of real estate experience, a passion for leadership development, and a steadfast commitment to serving REALTORS® at the local, state, and national levels. As a Realtor with Carolina One Real Estate and co-founder of Pearl Properties Team in Charleston, she has built a reputation for mentoring others, fostering meaningful connections, and creating opportunities for leaders to grow and thrive.

A graduate of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Leadership Institute and current President of the Coastal SC Network, Janie has served in numerous leadership roles throughout the organization and the REALTOR® family. Her dedication to professional development, collaboration, and service has made a lasting impact across South Carolina and beyond.
