Sometimes Point Hope's story is easier to understand from above. Across the community's 9,000 acres, approximately 60% of the land is planned to remain natural in the form of green spaces, wetlands, marsh, parks and trails. Neighborhoods, roadways and community destinations have been thoughtfully designed to take shape within the guiding natural boundaries of this beautiful Lowcountry landscape.

We can't believe it's been a whole decade since the Philip Simmons Elementary and Middle schools first opened for classes at Point Hope. Time flies! The schools have served a growing need for the Berkeley County School District, and their opening paved the way for the growth of our vibrant neighborhoods.

Today, hundreds of children living at Point Hope now walk, bike or ride to one of three Philip Simmons schools in the community (the High School opened in 2017). We're honored to be home to schools that offer such a solid educational base for young residents living here. 🎒✏️🚸

Good afternoon from Hopewell! Here's a look from above at one of Point Hope's growing neighborhoods. Nestled between the trees beyond the Publix and the community's dog park, Hopewell is a charming neighborhood of single-family homes from David Weekley Homes, Pulte Homes and Toll Brothers.

It's the first day of Fall! Cooler days will be making their way to the Lowcountry soon, which means we can break out the long sleeves and start spending more time on our front porches. What's your favorite thing about Fall in the Lowcountry?
