Thank you to all of my Brothers and Sisters in arms who are still fighting the fight.
-------------
As you wield your freedom of speech, remember that right was fought for with blood, sweat, and tears. Remember, that Men, and Women say good bye to loved ones everyday, and go abroad to fight for that freedom, for YOU!
As you wake up this morning, reflect upon what values are important to you. Consider the injustices that you feel passionate about, and what you can do to affect change. If it is to protest, than do it smartly, and with intention. Be passionate in your words, and in your work toward change, not violent and closed off to opposing opinion; be open to perspective.
Be patient. Reflect upon what your are afraid of, and find platforms that allow you to remedy the anxiety, not perpetuate it. Look to examples in history, and see what great leaders said, and did when ALL was "seemingly" lost, and no good, and do that!
If you protest against war, and pray for peace, thank a Veteran for affording you that opportunity, and keep pursuing that dream. I know that most do not wish to arbitrarily have enemies, but until we have them no longer, my Brothers, and Sisters in Arms, will continue to fight for your rights as Americans.
