Home again after more than 30 years away.

Congratulations to my buyers on closing at 2020 Lincoln Avenue! After years out of state, they’re moving back to the area they originally called home.

One thing about real estate around here is that you really have to know the area.

Charleston, Hurricane, Winfield, Scott Depot, Cross Lanes and the communities in between aren’t one big real estate market.

What buyers are looking for can change. Pricing can change. The type of property can change. Sometimes you only have to drive a few miles before you’re having a different conversation.

That’s why I’ve never been a big believer in looking at one number online and assuming it tells you what a property is worth.

There’s usually more to the story.
