Every day we’re shown the huge real estate deal, the luxury car, the perfect vacation and the investor supposedly making millions. What we don’t see is the debt, the losses, the financing costs, the failures—or how much of the image has been carefully manufactured for an algorithm.
Social media hasn’t just changed how we communicate. It has distorted our perception of wealth, success and what our own lives are supposed to look like.
