A downtown Charleston native, Lyles is not only considered a top broker on the peninsula, but a real estate leader for the whole Charleston market. For more than a decade, he has been a top producer, selling more than a hundred homes – over $130 million worth – with William Means. Well recognized for his local connections and work ethic, Lyles has helped weave William Means into the fabric of Charleston and elevated its business affairs through strategic management and dynamic leadership. He attributes the firm’s successes to its true client-first mentality. Lyles and his wife Katie (owner of local art gallery Meyer Vogl Gallery) are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Mae and Elliott. The couple lives downtown and were recently awarded the Preservation Society’s Carolopolis Award for the restoration of their historic 1920s-era home. A graduate of Charleston’s Porter-Gaud School, Lyles attended Southern Methodist University, where he studied economics. He then worked as a financial analyst in New York City before returning home. A firm believer in giving back, Lyles is a board member of The Gibbes Museum of Art’s Society 1858, and he contributes to the MUSC Children’s Hospital with every sale.
