Client Shoutout: Dustin

Today we want to recognize Dustin on his successful discharge from Lantern Residences.

Dustin came to Lantern early in his recovery journey. Like anyone working to rebuild their life, he had challenges along the way. But what stood out most was his willingness to keep showing up, keep growing, and keep putting in the work.

Over time, Dustin made huge improvements in his attitude, accountability, and leadership. He became a positive influence within the program and a role model for others around him. He eventually stepped into the role of House Lead, helping keep the house in compliance with program expectations and showing what it looks like to take recovery seriously.

During his time at Lantern, Dustin also made major personal progress. He earned his CDL license, got a new car, and continued building a strong foundation for a sober and successful life.

Dustin is a direct example of what we hope to see in this program: growth, responsibility, leadership, and commitment to change.

Great work, Dustin. We are proud of you and excited to see what comes next.

Recovery is possible — one day at a time.

At Lantern Residences, we believe men in recovery deserve more than just a place to stay. They deserve structure, support, accountability, and a community that walks with them as they rebuild their lives.

Every step forward matters. Every day sober matters. Every man deserves the chance to heal, grow, and start again.

Stability first. Structure always. Progress over perfection.

This Memorial Day Weekend, Lantern Residences honors the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As we gather in community, we remember that freedom, healing, and hope are all built on sacrifice.

Wishing everyone a safe, meaningful, and peaceful Memorial Day Weekend.

Stories like Frank’s remind us why Lantern exists. Recovery is about staying sober, rebuilding stability, finding community, and having people who believe in you while you take the next step forward.

At Lantern Residences, we are proud to walk alongside men as they rebuild their lives with structure, accountability, and support.

Our Goose Creek Lantern house is built around what recovery needs most: stability, structure, and access to opportunity.

Located just two blocks from a regular recurring recovery meeting and within walking distance of local employment opportunities, this home gives residents a strong foundation to rebuild their lives with dignity and accountability.

Stability first. Structure always. Progress over perfection.

No one heals without a home.
