McDonald’s Family Sells Palm Beach Waterfront Estate for $64 Million After Nearly Three Decades of Ownership. The Cohon family, whose name became closely associated with the international growth of McDonald’s during the late twentieth century, has sold a Palm Beach waterfront estate for a combined $64.35 million through two separate transactions. The sale includes a Mediterranean-style mansion on Tarpon Way that changed hands for $37.1 million and a neighboring vacant parcel that previously sold for $27.25 million earlier this year.

The Lowcountry Strawberry Festival in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina is shaping up to be one of the most memorable spring events in the Palmetto State…kicking off next month! Held at Boone Hall Farms on April 24-26 and May 1-3, the festival runs daily from 10am to 7pm and fills the farm with family fun. Visitors can ride a classic farm hayride out to the strawberry fields to pick fresh berries from 10am to 2pm while they last. Kids love the All American Petting Zoo, pony rides, giant slide, obstacle course, and the Boone Hall Farms playground. One of the most popular sights is the All American Pig Races, which draw big crowds each day. Live music and entertainment take place on the Boone Hall Farms Stage, along with the strawberry pie eating contest. Festival food vendors, games, amusement rides, and photo spots keep the fun going well into the evening.
