TEN YEARS AGO?! 😅

Apparently I’ve been doing real estate long enough to have decade-old clients sending me referrals… which is confusing because I’m pretty sure I’m still 19. 😂

One of my past clients, who I helped buy a home 10 years ago, recently referred someone to me and that alone means more than they probably realize.

And this one was easy. We looked at ONE house. That was it. We walked in, and we knew. 🏡

There’s something pretty special about helping someone find home, and then a decade later, having them trust you enough to send someone they care about your way.

Referrals will always be one of the biggest compliments in this business.🫶🏼

I thought it would be interesting to compare Kanawha County vs. Putnam County since they’re right next door but the market looked pretty different in July.

Kanawha County:
• More homes sold
• Homes took a little longer to sell
• Average sale prices came down a bit

Putnam County:
• Slightly fewer homes sold
• Homes still sold quickly (median of just 9 days)
• Average sale prices actually increased

This is exactly why real estate is local. Two neighboring counties can have very different trends, which is why it’s so important to work with a REALTOR® who understands the market you’re buying or selling in…not just real estate in general.

Every neighborhood has its own story, and having someone who knows the local market can make all the difference when it comes to pricing, negotiating, and getting the best outcome.
