Another exciting outing for our residents was a visit to the Sullenberger Aviation Museum, located at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. During our visit, we explored the history of aviation and learned about a variety of aircraft from different decades. Residents enjoyed viewing the impressive exhibits and interactive displays that highlighted the evolution of flight. One of the favorite parts of the trip was watching planes take off and land from the museum’s dedicated observation area.

One of our most anticipated movie outings yet was a huge success! Residents filled the bus as we moonwalked to Cinergy Dine in Cinema to see the new Michael movie. The film was a hit, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The conversations continued long after the credits rolled, with residents sharing their favorite moments and excitement about the movie.

We had the pleasure of welcoming the talented young members of Jumping Dreams Double Dutch to our community. Residents enjoyed spending time with the group, playing a few rounds of bingo, sharing conversations, and watching them demonstrate their impressive Double Dutch skills. The visit brought lots of smiles, laughter, and wonderful intergenerational connections. We truly enjoyed having them with us and look forward to welcoming them back again in the future.
