A little reminder that I’m still happiest when I’m creating something with my hands. ❤️

This weekend, I stepped away from work for a few hours and got back into the kitchen to make this cake for some family friends. Between work, kids, and all the day-to-day chaos of life, I don’t get nearly as much time to bake as I used to, so it was nice to slow down and enjoy the process.

Now it’s back to the usual routine, but I’m grateful for the chance to do something creative just for fun. 😊✨

I’m a puddle 🥹 Rune turns 2 in just a couple of weeks and today with Dr. Nathan he decided he wanted to be a big kid and lie facedown instead of being held. I’ve been going to see Nathan and his dad for almost 10 years now. James has been going since he was 6 months old. The other 3 it was the first stop we made the day we got out of the hospital after they were born. They are not just chiropractors to me, they are family. A place that loves our family well and a place my children feel safe (and eat all of the suckers 😂).

Two big wins for our family this weekend! The biggest one being that James pulled a hat trick at his game today! Second game in a row! So proud of my boy! What a great Easter weekend and the perfect end to our spring break! Saturday we went hiking at Pilot Mountain State Park. Today we celebrated our Risen King and Lily’s birthday with the rest of the family. So thankful for this family of mine, and for God’s sacrifice of His only Son so that we can live forever with Him.
