**BRAND. NEW. CONSTRUCTION!**

Who likes an extremely large amount of holes in their brand new roof? This company gets brownie points for also leaving an extremely large amount of nails behind on the roof surface ready to wash down and puncture your kids feet and lawnmower tires for the next 30 years! All included in the new construction package.

This is not even a large track builder! This isn’t laziness-this is ignorance. Do better!

I had the pleasure of doing an inspection today in the famous ghost town neighborhood (cannot state the builder name) where a large amount of homes were started, bankruptcy was filed, and the unfinished homes have been sitting for years. The bank hired contractors to finish the homes so they could still be sold.

Here are a few examples of the most common shingle defects we identify when conducting a roof inspection:

-Open holes
-Nail heads puncturing back through shingles
-Nail heads exposed
- Creased shingle tabs
- Concave pipe flashing collar
- Shingle deterioration
- Poor roof penetrations
- Shingles curling at tab corners
-Missing kick out flashings
