It's truly amazing to witness the results when you submit your plans to God, put in the work, and remain true to who you are.

One of the top questions I get asked all the time is, ‘How much money do I need to save to buy a home?’ And rightfully so; Purchasing a home is often the largest investment you’ll make in your lifetime, so it’s super important to understand all the details and prepare accordingly.

While the answer varies based on different factors, like the type of mortgage you qualify for and any special homebuyer programs you’re using, my golden rule is: it’s better to be safe than sorry. So, if you’re not receiving any extra help or incentives, I always suggest having AT LEAST 5% of the home’s purchase price saved up. That way, you’re ready for whatever comes your way in the home buying journey, and thereafter.

Reaffirming my commitment to being personable and doing things the right way. As a Realtor, I've found that being genuine is my superpower, and integrity is my compass. Staying true to my values isn't up for negotiation—any compromise for gain is a clear sign that I'm on the wrong path. My business approach isn’t just about transactions, it's a reflection of who I am. Being authentic naturally attracts the right connections and, just as importantly, repels the wrong ones.

Real success, to me, involves recognizing that every season has its purpose: whether it's a time of constant production or patiently harvesting seeds.
