As provided by canopy, the inventory of homes available has dropped tremendously, and the trend may continue based on recent projections by the Canopy MLS. The homebuyers in the Charlotte housing market have dealt with a persistent seller’s market, which has shrunk inventory and driven up home prices. 📈

Charlotte's real estate market continues to boom without being affected by the pandemic. 💣 Homes are selling quickly, inventory is low and prices are rising fast, but this market is still no match with a good agent who knows how to represent you while keeping your best interests in mind! 💁🏽‍♀️

Happy Motivation Monday everybody! Kicking off the month with a quick, but thorough, market update.

Cash buyers continue to make up a significant portion of the U.S. housing market, with nearly one-third of home sales this year being all-cash purchases. Although investors make up a considerable number of cash sales transactions, the increasing availability of remote work during the pandemic has allowed some homeowners to sell their homes in pricey markets, where they’re able to pay cash for a new home, giving them an edge in a highly competitive market.

As far as CLT updates, the median sales price has  increased 18.4% to $335,000 while the home supply has decreased 50.0% to 0.8.
