I grew up in Middletown, NJ and graduated from Monmouth University. I started my career in education teach

ing first grade before moving to Winston-Salem to teach first and second grade while my husband attended graduate school at Wake Forest University. After graduation we moved to Charlotte where I began working for Charlotte Mecklenburg School District. In my role as a teacher I was constantly building relationships and working with the community. We purchased our first home in 2007 through Allen Tate Realtors Southpark and it was a perfect fit right from the beginning. When I am not making homeownership dreams come true for my clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, traveling, and being outdoors. I live in the South Charlotte SouthPark area with my husband James and three children. Whether you are BUYING, SELLING, or RENTING moving can be very stressful. Some transactions stay with you forever… and this was one of them. 💙

What started as a wonderful agent referral turned into meeting two of the kindest people as they purchased their very first home together. But what made this journey even more special was being asked to be part of an unforgettable moment — a surprise marriage proposal during the final walkthrough on closing day. 💍🏡

Moments like these are why I love what I do. Real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It’s about building relationships, celebrating milestones, and being trusted to walk alongside people during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

The Charlotte real estate market is staying active this spring, but we’re seeing a more balanced market compared to the fast-paced frenzy of the past few years. Inventory is slowly improving, giving buyers more choices and a little more negotiating power, while well-priced homes in desirable areas are still moving quickly.

Mortgage rates continue to impact affordability, but serious buyers are still making moves — especially those focused on long-term investment and lifestyle goals. For sellers, presentation, preparation, and smart pricing are key to standing out this season. That’s where I come in! 😊
