Living in the south has its perks but it also comes with struggles we all have and that is maintaining lush green yards during those hot, sizzling months. If you are surrounded by those mammoth tall pines with lots of canopy, shade and dropped pine needles can prevent growth. I found this article helpful and wanted to share with anyone seeking possible solutions. It’s never to late to get your yard in shape and will add eye catching curb appeal. Today we took a quick trip to the mountains and stumbled upon Stikes Holler, just north of West Jefferson, NC. I couldn't help but wonder about the stories the mountains hold, the lives lived and memories made in these Appalachian settlements. Soon we headed back to Charlotte from the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is another reason why I love Charlotte so much. There's so much to see and do outside the hustle and bustle of this fast-growing city. Give me a "Holler" if you need real estate support coming to the Queen City or if you want to know what to do outside of the city. I'd love to hear about your story.
