Good Afternoon Facebook! Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of doing a few things. First, I made the journey back to Eastern North Carolina from the Charlotte area after only visiting a few times since graduating in 2018. My first stop was at my buddy’s grandma’s restaurant, Grady's BBQ. I was introduced to it with a container of turkey barbecue. It was the best bbq, pork, chicken, beef, or turkey, I’d ever tasted! So yesterday, I was able to see my other buddy, Mr. Scottie. I asked him if they had the turkey bbq, and he assured me they did with, “You’ve got your pants on don’t you?” 😂. Let’s just say that I left from this, now NC Barbecue Hall of Fame inducted, restaurant with SIX pounds of turkey barbecue and a sandwich for the road!
I also had the honor of celebrating my brother and client’s housewarming, and daughter’s second birthday. We had quite the time celebrating with lots of sweet treats, Hawaiian burgers, and Bluey!
Of course, during the journey, I also saw what looked to have been a husky driving a Scion on 85. Look at the last picture and you’ll learn all about it. 🤣 Needless to say, yesterday was a roadtrip full of pleasantries and I was one cheesing man!
