Hi y'all. I am posting this on Southern Marketplace's page because a lot of you have known me for many years and you will not be surprised this is what I'm doing now!!

If I can help anyone with their Real Estate needs please let me know. FYI -- AV PAINTING -- WORST PAINTING SERVICE EVER and customer service period (or lack there of!!!!! I don't know where to begin but the photos speak volumes and you can see the disrespect for my home. I had new ceiling fans and light fixtures and you can see how ridiculous they painted around the fixture and 6 of the globes are ruined. And they left this job thinking that would be OK! I could take many many more photos. AV PAINTING did my painting in November 2020 (which included painting the entire house including trim work, doors etc., kitchen cabinets and removing the popcorn ceiling and painting it). They did all that in a week (orig said it would take 1 week for popcorn removal and 1 week for the rest).
They rushed rushed rushed, therefore doing a totally unacceptable job (surely by anyone's standards.) If they ever did a job this bad, I would have to see it to believe it. They didn't cover the walls when they scraped the ceiling so they really weren't ready to be painted but they were pretty much doing both at the same time. And it was the biggest mess ever -- not because scraping the ceiling was messy but because things weren't covered properly and the thin plastic didn't work good and would come undone in many places. Gunk was all over my brand new floors. Specs of paint on the floors along with some on furniture, tile, floor etc. You can see an example of the shoe molding painting at the bottom of that black cabinet in kitchen. You can see how the ceiling was painted over the places that needed smoothing badly. You can see how they didn't even bother to remove the remote from it's holder on the wall, just painted around it. The tray ceiling in the bedroom is awful! The job was just a mess. The ceiling was/is awful!! Blows my
mind. For over 6 months they have not been back to fix all the problems (even though after stewing about it all, I had Fabian come over and look at everything.) He said it would take 2 days to fix the problems. He gave me appt for December 28 and December 29th and he was a no show (and didn't even let me know even after I messaged him on Dec 27th to check on it.) Did not ever call to reschedule. On February 6th I messaged him. He said he would call me on Feb 25th when he got back from vacation. He said he responded to me in January (I guess about missing the appt.) I don't know because I didn't get it. That brings me to April 20th and I still had not heard anything from Fabian so I messaged him. No answer so messaged again on April 22nd. He answered and said he would check his schedule and let me know the next day. It has been close to 60 days and he still has not contacted me. I will just let a judge decided how much of my money I can get back to get the repairs done and move on.
OH...AND HE DELETED MY POSTING FROM HIS PAGE!! THAT'S OK. THERE ARE OTHER PLACES HE DOESN'T CONTROL - BBB, GOOGLE, YELP...
