✨Your Showings Checklist✨
1️⃣ Ensure you're prepared to take every showing! The buyer willing to offer top-dollar may want to see your home in short notice. While we can absolutely control the amount of heads-up you receive before showings, it's important to keep your home show-ready just in case!
2️⃣ Lights, lights, lights! Leave your home light & bright to welcome buyers to their potential new home. There is a 30 second window where buyers see the home and quickly make their decision. The warm invitation of lighting is a great way to kick off the showing with a great first impression.
3️⃣ Whether it's warm or cold outside, ensure your house is the opposite! Make buyers feel comfortable enough to take off their jacket and stay a while. So much of home is the feeling of "comfort". Help potential buyers picture lazy days here!
4️⃣ Maintain the "show-ready" aura. Little things like hiding pots & pans, used towels, pet or cooking odors, etc.
5️⃣ Tone down loud rooms. Kid's rooms or rooms decorated to your unique personality are great! However, in a showing, you want to allow the buyer to picture THEIR life in the home. Making it as neutral as possible can really help the buyer's imagination!
