Absolutely heartbreaking news. I had the opportunity to work a transaction with Cristina Grossu Biffle and she was everything you want in an agent—professional, responsive, thoughtful, and a strong advocate for her clients. She was well respected and genuinely cared about the people she worked with.
The loss of Cristina, her husband Greg Biffle, a former NASCAR driver, and their family in a plane crash is devastating beyond words. Keeping their family, friends, and colleagues in my thoughts and prayers during this unimaginable time.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Cristina Grossu Biffle, who tragically lost her life in a plane crash on Thursday, December 18.
Cristina was a REALTOR® based near Charlotte, a 2019 graduate of the William C. Bass Leadership Academy, and a nationally recognized leader in real estate, named to REALTOR® Magazine’s 30 Under 30 list. She was a talented marketer, entrepreneur, author, and mentor whose influence reached far beyond her own business. Above all, Cristina was incredibly proud to be a mother and spoke often of her love for her children.
Cristina was also deeply committed to NC REALTORS®, generously giving her time through leadership development, committee involvement, and service to the association. She believed strongly in the value of engagement and worked to lift up others within the industry and her community.
Following Hurricane Helene, Cristina and her husband gave generously of their time and resources to support Western North Carolina communities, reflecting her heart for service and helping others.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Cristina’s family, friends, and all who were impacted by her life and leadership. She will be remembered for her passion, generosity, and the lasting mark she left on our association, our industry, and the communities she served.
