Honeycutt is also the owner of Allied Restoration Specialist, a company that provides insurance related restoration for homeowners on everything from water and fire damage, to kitchen and bath remodeling. During his 14 years in business, he has completed hundreds of challenging restorations, delivering real results to his satisfied clients. Honeycutt is a North Carolina native who graduated with a business management degree from North Carolina State University. He moved to Charlotte in 1987, where he laid down roots and started his career and family. He is happily married to his beautiful wife Melody, and has twin daughters, Elizabeth and Madison. His daughters, now in their late twenties were born and raised in Charlotte and went through the acclaimed Charlotte-Mecklenburg School district. When he is not busy buying/selling real estate or restoring a home, he is very active in the community and volunteers regularly at his church, Myers Park United Methodist. He is also a former member of the Charlotte North Rotary, as well as the former chairman of the Habitat for Humanity committee, where he volunteered and built three homes for needy families. In his leisurely time, he loves to travel, hunt, ski, snowboard, fish, and hike in the mountains.
