What I miss most about living here:
Amazing neighbors (Kristan Holzman William Dubé)
Gorgeous pool with water slide
Pond for fishing and watching the baby geese grow
Yard maintenance covered (I reeeally miss this one!)
wooded walking trails
walking right across the street to Harris Teeter, Dunkin Donuts and East Coast Wings!

As an agent who assists a LOT of first time homebuyers.. this hit home.. (pulled from todays Inman article)

America,
we have a problem.
The American dream of homeownership is getting further and further out of reach for first-time homebuyers, closing the door to generational wealth for families across the country.
This is especially concerning for buyers in historically underserved communities. Just consider the fact that the gap between Black and White homeownership is worse today than it was when the Fair Housing Act was passed in 19681.
Now there’s potentially another challenge: First-timers may have to face it alone without the help of an independent buyer’s agent.
Imagine facing the largest, most important transaction of your life for the first time. Imagine being part of a group 22% more likely to be denied a loan2.
Imagine being part of the 1 in 4 Hispanic families—the fastest growing population of homebuyers—who complete the home buying process entirely in Spanish3. Imagine being part of the 7 in 10 Veterans who don’t know they qualify for a home without a down payment4.
Now imagine doing it all without independent representation of a buyer’s agent.
Buyer’s agents are vital to a healthy real estate market. And first-timers need them more than any other group.
No one is better qualified to represent a first-time homebuyer’s unique interests, or negotiate with the seller’s party, or guide these newcomers through a complex process with 111 to-dos than a buyer’s agent. Let’s not make it harder for the buyers that need the most help.
