If you're selling a home and have pets, this is one conversation we need to have before your home hits the market. 🐾🏡
I love pets as much as anyone, but buyers can be surprisingly sensitive to pet-related smells, clutter, and distractions. The reality is that even the most lovable family pet can unintentionally impact a buyer's first impression.
Before listing your home, I always recommend:
✔️ Eliminating pet odors at the source—not just covering them up
✔️ Removing pet toys, bowls, crates, and other visible pet items
✔️ Keeping litter boxes spotless and out of sight during showings
✔️ Safely relocating pets during tours whenever possible
The goal is simple: help buyers focus on your home, not your pets.
A clean, neutral, pet-free showing experience can help your home appeal to more buyers and potentially sell faster.
