We’ve been handed a unicorn day:
cool temps, low pollen, zero mosquitoes, and just enough breeze to do what your HVAC can’t.

Open it all up. Air it out.

Because here’s the part nobody says out loud—
every home has a smell… and the owner is the last to know.

Mine?
Burnt food.

Not “I tried a new recipe.”
More like… I believed in myself and lost.

There’s a direct correlation between my cooking and the number of times smoke alarms go off- in every house on the black. 🔥😅

So yes—today my house gets a full reset.
Yours probably should too.

Encore Azaleas are one of the best landscaping choices you can make in Charlotte — because they bloom three times a year: spring, summer, and fall.

Not just once like traditional azaleas. Months of color instead of weeks.

They also come in so many colors — white, light pink, hot pink, and red — swipe through and tell me which one is your favorite in my yard.

If you are ill informed about Charlotte; (or a native!) listen to this song and you will know our story. Growing up down east We could drive to Washington DC quicker than we could get to Charlotte. I never really cared for Charlotte - Raleigh was our big city. Having lived here now I love Charlotte and have a lower opinion of Raleigh.
