Fall officially begins today. 🍂 But in Charlotte, September still feels like a little bit of both seasons.

Warm afternoons, the first hints of cooler evenings, summer favorites still on the table… and just enough of a change in the air to make you ready for what’s coming next.

And sometimes, welcoming a new season at home is as simple as bringing it to the table. 🤍

Fresh tomatoes on toast. Apples and pears tossed into a salad. Figs with ricotta and honey. And roasted squash for those evenings when it finally starts to feel like fall.

Because home isn’t only about where you live. It’s the meals you make, the people who gather around your table, and those everyday rituals that make a space feel like yours.

Living it. Loving it. Selling it. ❤️🏡

This month marks 9 years since I became a licensed real estate agent, and it has me thinking about everything those nine years have brought with them.

When I started, I knew real estate. I had already spent years working in the industry and around mortgages, but becoming an agent opened an entirely different chapter for me.

Nine years later, Charlotte is the market I live in, work in, and genuinely love. I’ve had the privilege of helping people buy their first homes, relocate to the Carolinas, sell and move on to their next chapter, build new homes, invest—and sometimes navigate transactions that definitely tested all of us along the way. 😂

There have been wins, challenges, lessons, changes in the market, long days, late-night negotiations and plenty of moments that reminded me why experience matters.

But what I value most are the relationships that came from it.

The clients who became friends. The people who came back years later. The referrals from someone who trusted me enough to put my name in front of someone they care about. Those are the things I don’t take for granted.

So yes… after almost 9 years:

I’m living it. I’m loving it. And I’m still selling it. 😉

And I’m very excited about what comes next.

A few days in one of my favorite cities. 🗽🤍

Lots of walking, good food, plenty of coffee, and a little break from the everyday routine.

And somehow, even while taking a few days away, some pretty special things were happening back home.

One of my clients is officially CLEAR TO CLOSE on their first home! 🏡🙌 And another family was able to resolve their home situation and can finally move forward into their next chapter.

Those are the moments that remind me why I love what I do.

Heading home with tired feet, a full camera roll, great memories… and a very grateful heart.
