Mike & Lorrinda Kingsbury with K&K Organics will be back this year for Small Business Saturday! Mike and Lorrinda have been sharing their passion for gardening for over 25 years, and started their commercial business, K&K Organics, over the past 4-5 years. Their motto is “From our Farm to Your Table”. K&K Organics will have their homemade Jams/Jellies, Salsa, a line of Organic Vanilla Extract, a variety of farm-grown organic produce, and microgreens. There may also be some other homemade treats from their kitchen and other products, all depending upon availability!

Sue’s Zoo will join us again for Small Business Saturday on November 29. Sue has been crocheting for over 35 years, and she specializes in stuffed animals, dolls, and rugs. She has crocheted many cartoon character collections including Scooby Doo, the Smurfs, and Charlie Brown — and she has now added Bluey families to her lineup!

Mike Wonser with Thorstruck and Linda Wonser with 8muddyfeet are back for Small Business Saturday!

Since 2019, Mike has been creating stunning hardwood pieces using fractal burning. His beautiful bowls have been featured by Holland Bowl Mill since 2020, and he also crafts walking staffs and a variety of unique wooden items.
Linda has been needle felting and wet felting since 2009, teaching locally and at the Northern Michigan Fiber Festival in Alpena. In addition to her felted creations, Linda will be selling gorgeous, eco-printed silk scarves.
Together, Mike and Linda keep bees in their backyard and will also be offering a variety of bottled honey!

Cindy Wade of Memory Jewelry be back for Small Business Saturday! Cindy offers a collection of one-of-a-kind handmade statement jewelry using polymer clay. She creates each piece with love and attention to small details, making them truly special. Cindy, a local multi-media artist, started the business after retiring from a 40+ year career in insurance. The name is inspired by the special ways a piece can be made as a remembrance of someone’s life. Her first piece of jewelry featured flower petals from her mother’s funeral embedded in the clay. In addition to jewelry, she will return with rustic Christmas ornaments and unique greeting and Christmas cards using the art of slow sew, a technique of hand stitching small fabric scraps together.

Brian Russel with Artisanal Woodcrafts will be joining us on Small Business Saturday for the first time this year. Brian has been passionate about woodcrafts his whole life and is now devoting his full attention to woodworking. He uses ethically sourced wood and natural sealants on all his products. Brian tries to bring out the best characteristics of the wood, showcasing unusual shapes and the natural wonders it holds. He believes in doing wood crafting by hand and lets the wood guide him in shaping each piece.

Linda of Sheldon’s Memory and Specialty Bears will be returning to The Doolittle Building for Small Business Saturday this year! She has been creating specialty bears for 25 years. Linda makes custom ‘Memory Bears’ which are hand crafted from a loved one’s article of clothing. Linda's bears have represented high schools, sports teams, colleges, characters, and she has also made bears from antique fabrics.
