As someone who volunteers and works with domestic abuse survivors, I’ve learned the importance of being emotionally supportive of those who have suffered from the hurt and betrayal of their family. Innocent children need to know they aren’t alone, they aren’t responsible for the mental distortions of their family members. Be a stand for innocent children who are sexually abused so they can heal from the trauma.

I've had the experience of clients calling me upset because someone in their family told them, x, y or z, as though they are doing their family member a favor by giving them ill informed advice. Thank goodness I also have trusted relationships with my clients and I'm able to breath reasonable and rational thoughts into their fears. My priority is my clients experience throughout the process.

I did one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done today, I said “yes” to me and “no” to unacceptable behavior. Even though it came at a high price, I’m worth it. Wonder Woman 🧍‍♀️has tremendous physical strength and it’s still challenging to stand up to others expectations.
