Sales in October rose for the first time year-over -year since July 2024!
Closed sales rose 1.7% year-over-year and rose 4.4% compared to September 2024.
Pending Sales, which gauge buyer demand, jumped significantly, 23.6%, and were up 4.4% compared to September.
Mortgage rate: Sept.26, 2024 = 6.08% (the lowest rate in 2024)

Mid-November's 6.78 percent rate meant that based on 20 percent down, a monthly mortgage payment is $2,082 on a home priced at $400,000.
September’s low rate of 6.2 percent yielded a monthly mortgage payment of $1,960 with 20 percent down.
