My talented partners Nick Spain (his FB was hacked so I can’t tag him) and Chef Jason Pound at Solandra Hospitality have worked tirelessly together to deliver something fresh, sophisticated and unique to the Charlotte F&B landscape.

We’ve incorporated the “must-haves”… excellent, consistent cocktails and delicious food…along with other rarer features…thoughtful design, a one-of-a-kind welcoming environment with truly luxurious finishes, soft indirect lighting, fire, water, earth, a custom signature scent, superb acoustics and state-of-the-art sound built for audiophiles.

I’ve been building this space in my mind for too many years to admit. It’s small, but it packs a serious punch.

If you’d rather not venture inside, not to worry! Our sister venue Buddha Belly officially opens this weekend around the corner on Winnifred, where you can order off a special street food menu from our window, 11pm-1:30am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Argos made its first real estate investment in 2006 with the purchase of this property at 2500 Distribution St in Charlotte’s South End. At the time, South End was a fledgling business district with barely a local brand. Our first light rail line was still under construction.

Today, South End is one of the most sought after submarkets in the country for urban development, having seen nearly $2 billion in commercial sales volume and a 5x increase in land values since 2020.

The property at 2500 Distribution St is zoned TOD-UC, allowing the densest mixed-use development outside of uptown. The 2+ acre property is primed for office and/or multifamily high-rise development and is FOR SALE!

The Savona Mill redevelopment is officially underway!... Lots of sitework, demo, clearing and infrastructure coming first, but look for completion of the 200,000 SF mill in spring 2023. Thanks to our partner Portman Holdings for leading the development and project partners Alliance Architecture, Edifice, Kimley-Horn, Surface 678 and Foundry Commercial. A first phase of 320 newly constructed apartments from Portman Residential will also be constructed, framing in the mill, once the whole site is prepped and a new road, sidewalks and utilities are in place.

The project will include:

▪️An outdoor amphitheater for live music and public events
▪️Green spaces
▪️A rooftop deck
▪️A community plaza

Construction is now underway and the first phase of the Savona Mill adaptive reuse is expected to open next spring.

An article published in the Charlotte Observer today regarding the Leeper & Wyatt building in South End. Argos is working with several parties to coordinate relocation of the 119 year old building to a nearby property to make way for a new development on its current site.

The oldest home in Myers Park was recently demolished, and a historic landmark on the border of South End could soon face the same fate in Charlotte.

We ended a busy year with the sale of our project at 2322 Dunavant St. This area of South End is poised for great things with development of several surrounding mixed use and residential projects.

Charlotte-based 6 Summit Capital acquires the South End building that houses The Dunavant restaurant for $6.15 million on Dec. 29.

Our award winning office/retail project at 2322 Dunavant St…. Love how the morning light plays off of the breeze block courtyard panels. The custom designed terrarium brings the outside world in and livens up the lobby with hand selected tropical plants. Palm Springs vibes in the QC!
