Rainy day views from the Ivester Jackson Christie’s office in SouthPark. 🌧️🏙️

Even with a little rain, this city has a way of showing off. Always proud to call Charlotte home.

Trying to figure out where to live in Charlotte? Here’s the simple version.

Each neighborhood has its own feel, so the “best” area really depends on your lifestyle.
A few examples:

• Want suburban convenience with shopping, dining, and everyday needs close by? Ballantyne West or Cotswold may be a good fit.

• Want walkability, restaurants, breweries, and light rail access? South End is a strong option.

• Want creative energy, murals, live music, and local spots? Look at NoDa or Plaza Midwood.

• Want historic homes, tree-lined streets, and a more established feel? Myers Park, Eastover, or Dilworth may be worth exploring.

• Want more affordability with growth potential and light rail access? University City is one to consider.

Charlotte is not one-size-fits-all. The right neighborhood depends on how you live, where you work, what you value, and what kind of pace feels right for you.

Charlotte is growing fast. Really fast. 📍

New Census estimates show Charlotte added 20,731 people from July 2024 to July 2025, more than any other U.S. city during that period. The city’s population is now estimated at 964,784, putting it closer to the 1 million mark.

What does that mean for real estate?
• More people means more housing demand
• Suburbs are seeing major growth too, especially places like Fort Mill, York, Monroe, and Kannapolis
• Buyers are often looking for more space, better value, and strong amenities
• Growth can support long-term home values, but it can also bring more competition
• Local planning, infrastructure, and housing supply will matter more than ever

Charlotte is not just growing. It is becoming one of the biggest growth stories in the country. What do you think this means for our housing market? Comment below. 👇️

Proud to be one of the sponsors for the TPGA golf tournament benefiting Autism for the 2nd year in a row. ⛳

With 12 years of impact, TPGA continues to support junior golfers as they grow in the game and pursue careers in professional golf, while also raising funds for Autism and supporting the Autism Society in our local communities.

It was a great turnout with 75 attendees, and I’m grateful to be part of an event with such a meaningful mission.
