🖼️ M and I had some last minute summer adventures before school started. My favorite was taking her to the Mint Museum (we ended up going twice so we could see EVERYTHING). She was so engaged and loved looking at each piece. I’ve had a love of museums for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite things to do in college was to head to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston anytime I felt a little bored or wanted some peace. I told M that in many places she’ll visit, there will likely be a museum to explore. I hope she maintains her curiosity and a love of museums for life!
Fun facts: When we first moved to Charlotte, I was unemployed and volunteered at the Mint during my free time. Later, I met some great friends by becoming involved in the Young Affiliates of the Mint. Before that, I interned at two museums in CA, an art gallery in Boston, and majored in Art History! The twists and turns of life ☺️
