Happy 6th Birthday to this amazing dog! 🎉🐾

I know everyone says they have the best dog, but no Beagle is as loved as this one. I never thought I could love a dog as much as I love Willa.

She tests our patience, pushes our limits, barks at the most random things, and acts like she’s never been fed a day in her life. But she also makes us laugh every single day and fills our home with so much love and personality.

In January, and I put together a goal list for the year and decided to get off the couch and run a 5k. I do NOT run. Never been my thing. I’ll walk, bike, elliptical but NEVER running. We found the “Couch to the 5k” training program and began the journey in February to run the Ballantyne 5k. It was never perfect and we had some ups and downs.

Today, despite a monsoon for most of the race (which we hadn’t trained in), we finished the journey and completed the race. Didn’t stop, ran the whole time, under 10:00 miles, and finished just under 31:00.

Can’t begin to say how proud I am of both of us. I am so thankful that agreed to do this with me and encouraging both of us throughout the whole process. I love you so much.
