te office, talking to the other agents and absorbing as much as possible! These experiences helped me as I earned my real estate license, and began my real estate career in 2004. Graduating from Appalachian State University in 1991, I have an in-depth knowledge of the High Country, and all of the things that make living in this area so special! While still working in the real estate industry, I identified a missing service in the High Country, and I started an Interior Consulting firm, called ReFresh Your Space, as a way of assisting home owners looking to 'ReFresh their Space' by taking the mystery and confusion out of working with an Interior Designer. Now celebrating our 5th Year of serving our client’s, at RYS Interior Consulting, we believe great design should be accessible at all price points and are dedicated to make interior design approachable and a collaboration. RYS Interior Consulting offers services such as Luxury Vacant Home Staging, Design to Sell furnishings packages, Color Consultations, Interior Design and many other packages. I feel honored to have been name a 2019 and 2021 “Most Influential People in Home Staging™” by the Real Estate Staging Association�. In addition, I have received a "Best Of Houzz - Customer Service" award for 2019 and 2021. I also am a board member for the App Builds a Home project, which is the first ever collaboration between AppState and the Watauga Habitat for Humanity. In addition, I am an Alumni Advisor to the undergraduates of my fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha at Appalachian State University.
