Today isn’t just the start of summer. It’s a day to stop and remember the men and women who gave everything so we could have the lives we’re living. 🙏

The backyard cookouts. The lake days. The front porches and family dinners and neighborhoods full of kids playing outside.

None of it is guaranteed. All of it was paid for. 🎖️

To the fallen, thank you doesn’t feel like enough. But we say it anyway, with full hearts and deep gratitude.

Once closing day is over, most people jump straight into unpacking, but there are a few other things worth doing early on, too.
