I have a senior with limited mobility in an emergency situation needing help moving over the next week. She has reached out to JABA and Social Services with no luck. She is moving from Belmont to Staunton. She needs help moving her things, but her new place is secured. Albemarle services won't help people who are moving out of the county. The social worker involved sat with this senior and helped her call for help. I trust that the social worker has knowledge of services I am unaware of and has worked to help to the best of her ability.
