We continue to pray for the many volunteers, forestry and firefighters, and the vast wildlife in these beautiful mountains that are rapidly burning.
The Quaker Run fire has burned approximately 2800 acres on private, state, and federal lands with about 670 acres within Shenandoah’s boundary.
With the dry environment and ripping winds, the burning is still unpredictable.
Let’s hope for rain and continued control for the preservation of our mountains and the homes down below.

We are so lucky to live so close to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and the nature it vastly houses.

Every year the fall foliage brings people from all across the country to the mountains to take in the fall watercolors nature paints.

Peak foliage varies a lot based on weather and general climate conditions, but here are some predictions on the best times to visit!

As stewards of the land, farmers are what make the world go round. Our most important asset is our planet, and how we take care of it. Thank your local farmers for all they do, as most of what keeps our planet going is owed to farmers.
