Lots of people think “Landlording” is sit back and collect a check. Got a text from our long time tenant this morning about a leak down into the garage. No bath on that side of the house so the mechanical room was the culprit. I found the drain had standing water and after about 5 seconds of snaking … boom .. the plug had never been fully punched out at construction. After 4 years it decided to clog. Easy $6 fix
